There is not as much known about goblin sharks comparatively to others, but it is one of the most fascinating and unique based on what we already know.
They swim in the deep sea, and their jaw can snap forward to catch their prey off guard. They are already in its mouth before the prey realize anything is around!
Goblin shark's long noses have the ability to detect weak electric fields of other animals, similar to hammerhead sharks.
Also, they have pink skin!!!
Not much else particularly is known about these sharks. Attempts to keep them in captivity have failed, and we have yet to see anything about how they reproduce. They simply are just swimming around too far down in the sea to study accurately.
